THE POSITION OF WOMEN IN ISLAM
Islam is order
sent down by God the Creator of Man, He is the only one who knows the ins and

his servant, and which are bad and dangerous to them Islam became a very good
of human life, most complete and most noble, only Islam that
could usher humankind headed goodness, advances, and happiness in the world and afterlife. Therefore, Allah sent down His command, and obliges people to apply it in life, in order that their lives become better, more advanced, nobler, and happier in world and the next. Islam makes men, as household heads, was on his shoulders the primary responsibility of inner and outer family. Islam is also very professional in sharing household duties. The head of the family give the main task to resolve any matters outside the home. Whereas the mother has the primary task is noble. That is taking care of things in the house.

norms contained in His word:
الرِّجَالُ
قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ
وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ
“The men
(husband) were the leader for the women (wife), because Allah has preferred
their portion (the men) tothe others (women), and because they (the men) have
providing a living from their property / have given
livelihood[1]”.
Similarly, His word:
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ
"Let you (the wife) remain in
your home"[2]
The Hadist declared that wives ought to stay at home, and do not come
out except there is a need[3]
but with fulfill requirements.
B. THE
LAW WORK FOR WOMEN
Work is an
obligation of the husband as head of household, but Islam does not forbid women
to work. Women may work, if it fulfills its terms and does not contain thing
that barred in religion. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Baz said, "Islam
does not forbid Women
to work and business, because Allah ordered his servants to work In
his word:
وَقُلِ
اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Say
(O Muhammad), work for you! Then Allah, His Messenger, and the mukmin will see
your work ")[4]
This order includes men and women.Allah also prescribed any
business to all his servants, because of that all human are command to do
business, endeavor, and work, beit for male or female. This orders generally, both men and women. However,
there are requirements that consideredbywomen in carrying out the work.
C
THE REQUIREMENTS OF CAREER WOMEN
There
are things that need to consider if the wife wants to work, such as:
1. Her
work does not disturb the primary obligation of household affairs, because
taking care of the household work is obligatory, the obligation was not for her
outside of work, and something that obligation should not defeated by something
that is not obligatory.
2. It
must be the permission of her husband, because the wife shall obeyher husband.
3. Applying
Islamic morals, such as keeping in view, wearing the hijab syar'i, do not wear perfume;
do not soften his voice to men who are not her mahram, etc.
4. Her
work in accordance with the nature of women, such as teaching, doctors, nurses,
writer the article or book
5. There
is no ikhtilat in the work environment. Let her seek work environment
especially for women, example: School women, women courses, etc.
6, Before
working outside the home should find a job that be done at home. If there are
no, just find a job outside the home that is especially among women. If there
are no, he should not be looking for work outside the home are mixed between
men and women, unless the situation is an emergency or urgent situation, for
example, the husband Is not able to meet his family life,
or her husband's sick.

the office, if the office of religious affairs? (Answer):
The working office of women still should not separate from the two
possibilities.
First: women only visit a special office of women, for example, an office
guidance of girls’ schools and the like. The working of these kind women in the
office is okay. Second: If his office occur jumble between men and women, then women should not
be working there with the men in partners who both work in the workplace. Because
things like that can be, cause a scandal.
The Prophet has warned his followers
against slander women. He preach the after his death, no slander harmful to men
rather than women slander. Moreover, even any place of worship, the Prophet
strongly advocated keep your distance women from the men, as was mentioned in
one his sayings:
"The
last shafis the best one for women (rearmost) and at worst is the first
(forward).

when asked about what jobs are allowed for a
woman? (answer): he has the right to teach, selling
and buying, weaving cloth, making batik, spinning, sewing and such, if it does
not push the acts forbidden by religion.

Most ulama was saying that discharge women from their homes, even
